Moderate Christian Blog Aggregator Standards

I will include any blog in the Moderate Christian blog aggregator that fulfills the following simple standards:

  • You identify yourself somewhere on the blog as a Christian blogger.
  • You either self-identify as a moderate or your posts clearly demonstrate that you're moderate as defined below
  • You post predominantly on non-personal topics. These don't have to be religious, but purely personal logs don't fit the purpose of this aggregator.

For purposes of the blog aggregator, I add to the definition of a moderate Christian one who is in conversation with others. A person might be theologically conservative or liberal, but be very open to fellowship of people who disagree. Such a person would still fit well in this moderate aggregator.

If you would like to be included in this aggregator, fill in and submit the following form. I will try to consider your blog quickly.

What I mean by Moderate Christian Theology

By "moderate Christian theology" I mean the doctrinal views of those who are moderate, relaxed, and open in how they deal with the world, but who take the Christian religion and Christian spirituality seriously. They will have an interest in the Bible, but will not be dogmatic and will also be interested in interfaith dialog and will not pressure their neighbors. Their primary form of witness is by their life, but they do not hide the fact that they are Christians. They let their light shine through deeds first, then words, and even through signs.
